Terms of Service
The rules for using MonoAdmin: accounts, projects, plans and billing, your data, the resource, suspension, liability and which law applies.
These terms are the agreement between you and MonoAdmin. They cover the website, the panel, the in-game menu, the MonoAdmin resource and everything else we run under the MonoAdmin name (together, “MonoAdmin” or “the service”). Please read them. If you do not agree to them, do not use MonoAdmin.
Who We Are
MonoAdmin (“we”, “us”) is a cloud admin platform for FiveM game servers. Server owners sign up on the panel at app.monoadmin.net, link their game server with the MonoAdmin resource, and manage players, bans, warnings, reports, logs, live data, screen streams and Discord tickets. MonoAdmin is the name we operate under. We have no other trading name.
You can reach us at hello@monoadmin.net. That one address is for support, privacy, legal matters, billing questions and requests to see or delete your data.
MonoAdmin is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Cfx.re (FiveM). Grand Theft Auto, FiveM and the other names we mention belong to their owners.
Accepting These Terms
You accept these terms when you create an account, sign in, link a game server, buy a plan or otherwise use MonoAdmin. The documents linked below are part of them:
- the Acceptable Use Policy;
- the Refund and Cancellation Policy;
- the Data Processing Addendum, which applies to data about players on your server;
- the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which explain what we do with personal data; they are information for you, not extra obligations.
If you accept these terms for a community, a company or anyone other than yourself, you confirm that you have the right to do so.
Who Can Use MonoAdmin
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. To buy a paid plan you must be an adult (18 or older), or have a parent or guardian who agrees to the purchase and takes responsibility for it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we close or delete it.
You must also be allowed to use MonoAdmin under the law that applies to you, and you must not be someone we have banned.
Your Account
- Give us a real email address that you control, and keep it up to date. We send you security notices, billing notices and project notices there, and you cannot switch these service emails off. We also send occasional product news, which you can switch off at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
- Keep your password and your two-factor codes to yourself. Do not share an account between people. We strongly recommend turning on two-factor sign-in.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at once at hello@monoadmin.net if you think someone else is using it.
- We cannot read your password and there is no self-service reset for lost two-factor codes. If you lose them, contact us and we may ask you to prove the account is yours.
- You can sign in with Discord if you prefer. Then the Discord terms also apply to that sign-in.
Projects, Owners and Staff
Your game server lives in a project. The person who creates a project is its owner. Ownership can move to someone else only through us, on request.
- The owner decides who joins the project, what roles they have and what each role may do. A member can do what the roles the owner gave them allow.
- The owner is responsible for their members. What a member of your project does in MonoAdmin is your responsibility, including every ban, screenshot, stream and note, and any misuse of the service. Give powers only to people you trust, and remove them when they leave.
- Plans belong to a project, not to an account. Only the owner can buy a plan for a project or see its payments.
- You must use MonoAdmin only for game servers that you own or are allowed to run.
The Free Plan and Paid Plans
Every project starts on the free Starter plan. It needs no payment method and has no end date. The paid plans, Community, Plus, Ultra, Enterprise and Lifetime, raise the limits. Lifetime is paid once, for one project, and has the limits of Enterprise with no end date, for as long as MonoAdmin runs. It does not renew, and it ends sooner only if its payment is refunded or a dispute over it is lost. What each plan includes is on the Pricing page and in Plans and Limits. A plan may not always be on sale at checkout. If the plan you want is not, contact us.
Limits are enforced by the service. If a project goes over a limit, for example more players online than its plan allows, parts of the panel lock until it is back within the limit or on a plan that fits. See When a Plan Ends or Runs Over.
Billing Through Tebex
We sell paid plans through Tebex. Tebex sells the plan to you as reseller and merchant of record, and you pay on Tebex’s own checkout page. Tebex’s own terms apply to the purchase. MonoAdmin never sees your card details.
- A payment buys one billing period of one plan for one project. A subscription renews every billing period until you cancel it, and you can also buy one period at a time. Lifetime is the exception: one payment buys it for one project, with no billing period and nothing to renew. The checkout shows the price and any tax before you pay. Prices are not listed in these terms: the price is the one shown at checkout.
- A plan changes when Tebex tells us that your payment went through, and not before.
- When you upgrade, the new plan starts at once and runs for a full period. Time left on the old plan is not carried over.
- If a renewal is declined, the plan stays active for a short grace period while Tebex retries. If nothing goes through, the project moves to Starter.
- We keep a record of each payment, including the email address you paid with, the amount, the plan and Tebex’s transaction ID, for accounting, with no fixed end date. The Privacy Policy has the details.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, as shown at checkout.
Cancelling
MonoAdmin cannot cancel a subscription for you. You cancel it at Tebex, from the link in your Tebex receipt email or on Tebex’s customer page. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and after that the project moves to Starter. Nothing is deleted when a plan ends.
Deleting a project, or an account, does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it at Tebex first. Details are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Refunds
Payments are not refunded for partial months or unused time. Lifetime has no billing period, so there are no partial months on it, and it is a paid plan like the others: the 7-day exception below applies to it. There are two exceptions: within 7 days of your first payment for a plan, if you could not use MonoAdmin as described, and where the law requires a refund. The Refund and Cancellation Policy has the full rules and how to ask.
Changes to Plans and Prices
We may change plans, limits, features and prices. A price change does not apply to a period you have already paid for. If we change a paid plan so that it includes less, we tell the project owner by email at least 14 days beforehand, so you can cancel before it applies. Changes to the free plan and new features can take effect when we announce them.
Acceptable Use
You and the people on your project must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no unlawful use, no harassment or spying, no misuse of players’ data, no attacks on the service, and no breaking the rules of Discord, Tebex, Rockstar Games or Cfx.re.
Your Content and Data
You own it. Everything you or your staff put into MonoAdmin, and everything your game server and your players’ games send to it for your project, is your content: player records, notes, reports, logs, files, settings, Discord ticket messages and more. We do not claim ownership of any of it.
What we may do with it. You give us a licence to host, copy, process, display and transmit your content only as needed to run, secure and support the service for you, and to follow the law. The licence is worldwide, non-exclusive and free of charge, and lasts as long as we hold the content. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data about players. When you use MonoAdmin, you decide what is collected about the people on your server. For that data you are the controller and we are the processor, and the Data Processing Addendum applies. You must have a lawful basis for what you collect and tell your players about it.
Service data. We may use information about how the service runs, such as load, errors and how much each project stores, to operate and improve it.
Getting your data out. The panel has no self-service account deletion and no export of your account or player data, apart from exporting reports. Write to us and we answer within 30 days and tell you what we did, or what we could not do and why. The Privacy Policy explains what deleting removes and what we keep.
The Resource
The MonoAdmin resource is the software you add to your FiveM server. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download it and run it on game servers that you own or run, linked to your MonoAdmin project, for as long as these terms apply.
You may not copy it for others, resell or sublicense it, run it without MonoAdmin, remove notices from it, or change it to get around limits, security or rate limits. You may not reverse engineer it except where the law says you may despite this rule. If the licence ends, remove the resource from your server.
Third-Party Services
MonoAdmin works with other services, and their terms apply to your use of them:
- Discord, for sign-in, the ticket bot and direct messages. If you use your own bot, you must follow Discord’s terms and developer policy.
- Tebex, for checkout and payment, and for the free package the resource is claimed through.
- Steam, whose public profile pictures we may fetch.
- FiveM and Cfx.re, whose platform your game server runs on. Cfx.re also delivers the MonoAdmin resource through its asset system, so its terms apply to that download and to your server’s license key.
- Cloudflare, which carries our traffic and protects sign-in pages.
We do not control these services. If one changes or fails, the parts of MonoAdmin that depend on it may change or stop working, and we are not responsible for that. The Sub-processors page lists the services that handle data for us.
Availability and Changes
We work to keep MonoAdmin running, but we do not promise it will be available all the time or free of errors. We may take it down for maintenance, pause sign-ups or sign-ins, or switch off a feature or a whole area, for one project or for everyone. We try to announce planned maintenance in the panel.
Features can change or go away. You decide how your game server behaves when it cannot reach MonoAdmin; read the docs before you rely on a setting. You are responsible for your own backups of anything you keep on your server.
Suspension and Termination
You can stop using MonoAdmin at any time. You can delete a project in the panel, and you can ask us to delete your account.
We may suspend or end access to a project or an account, or ban an email address, a Discord account or a range of network addresses, when:
- you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- we believe it is needed to protect players, other customers, MonoAdmin or anyone else;
- you open a chargeback or a payment dispute without contacting us first (the project may be suspended while it is open);
- the law or an authority requires it.
A suspended project cannot be used, and its game server link is switched off. A terminated project is deleted 14 days later unless we restore it; the panel shows the date. Unless the law or safety stops us, we tell the owner the reason. If you think we got it wrong, write to us.
Nothing you paid is refunded because of a suspension or termination for breaking these terms, except where the law requires it. Rules that by their nature continue after the end, such as the limits on liability and the governing law, continue.
Disclaimers
MonoAdmin is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, including for fitness for a purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, uninterrupted use or that it will meet your needs.
MonoAdmin is a tool for your moderation. You decide whom to ban, warn or watch, and you answer for those decisions. What a player’s game sends is evidence and not proof, and we do not promise that a ban catches every account, that every screenshot or stream is complete, or that your scripts, frameworks and third-party resources work with every version.
Limit of Liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill or the cost of replacing services; and
- our total liability for anything connected with MonoAdmin is limited to the amount you paid us for MonoAdmin in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury, or for anything that the law does not allow us to limit. If you live where the law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights stay.
If You Misuse MonoAdmin
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover us for losses, costs and claims (including reasonable legal fees) that third parties bring against us because of your misuse of MonoAdmin: breaking these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, collecting or using player data unlawfully, content you put into MonoAdmin that infringes someone’s rights, or what your staff do in your project.
Changes to These Terms
We may change these terms. If a change is material, we post it on this page and email the project owners and account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. Other changes, such as a correction or a clarification, take effect when we post them. A change needed to follow the law or to deal with a security problem may take effect sooner. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
If you keep using MonoAdmin after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not agree, stop using MonoAdmin and ask us to delete your account.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms, and any dispute about them or about MonoAdmin, are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The courts of the Philippines will decide disputes, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. This does not take away rights that the law of the country where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.
Before starting a case, please write to hello@monoadmin.net. Most problems can be solved by email.
General
- These terms, with the documents linked in them, are the whole agreement between you and us about MonoAdmin. For personal data about players, the Data Processing Addendum comes first if the two disagree.
- If a part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to someone who takes over MonoAdmin.
- These terms are in English.
